iMac Is Here!
Yes, all the rumor pointers were right for a change. The new iMacs have arrived. After perusing the specs on the various models (4 in total) I am so very glad that I waited. This machine is going to be amazingly better than my old, dying G4, I can hardly contain myself.

One More Note
One more little item came to light Friday night on the iMac rumor front. Apparently several retail outlets are reporting that there are new sku numbers for iMacs in their ordering system. Just one more thing pointing to new iMacs this Tuesday. Yeah, I know. I am giving it a big build up and it could be very disappointing. But, if you are excited about the Mac, then I say let her rip. iMac’s Maybe?
Yes, I have been here before. But, this particular rumor looks promising. I am one of the guys who doesn’t believe Apple will wait until the Developers Conference in June to announce new iMacs. Well, hot off the press.

The other big boy on the block for virtualization software is VMWare Fusion. VMWare has been making virtualization software for many years. They definitely have the expertise that is for sure. They are very well known in the Windows world.

There are two steps for the Parallels install. First you install Parallels, just double-click and go. Then comes your operating system of choice, most likely some brand of Windows.

Virtualization software has been around for many, many years on the Mac. Virtual PC anyone? If you want to run a another OS on the Mac you need virtualization software to run it. For years all we had was Virtual PC.

Odds & Ends
Needless to say my Mac tech partner from work and I are very disappointed. We both are in the market for a new iMac, but Apple, for whatever reason, has decided to delay the release. Actually, as far as they are concerned it isn’t a delay.
