How long have you been using OS X Leopard? I bought Leopard at the Apple Store the night it was released. I didn’t install it for about a month. Within a few months of installing it I bought a Time Capsule.

The de-facto standard for an Office suite on the Mac and PC is Microsoft Office. My employer uses it exclusively. This is very common in the Enterprise sector. Apple has designed an office suite called iWork which contains comparable applications to Word, Excel and Power Point.
Lesson Learned
My wife and I have been using Fusion and XP off and on for a few days now. Today she was using her embroidery program and somehow didn’t shutdown Fusion properly and it hosed the current installation of XP.

Fusion Network
I just wanted to bring you this small bit of information about Fusion 1.1.3 and Windows XP. It took me overnight to come up with the answer for this networking issue.
VMWare Fusion
Well, I finally did it. I bought VMWare Fusion off Amazon for about $30 and then about a month later I bought an OEM version of Windows XP from Amazon. Actually, it was shipped from Tiger Direct. Today I did the install.
Applecare
I may have mentioned that I will buy Applecare for my iMac. It will be the first time ever that I have done so. Macs are very reliable machines and very good quality. I have always felt the one year warranty was adequate. But, not any more.
3G iPhone
Well, Apple finally announced the 3G iPhone at the WWDC. And what a phone it is with 3G speed, GPS and tons of third party applications. It is going to sell like hot cakes. Plus, Apple lowered the price! Am I going to buy one?
ecto 3 – The Basics
After you have setup your blog account in ecto it is time to start blogging. When you first open the application you will be in the “Viewer Window”. If you click on the New button you will be taken to the “Draft Window” to start your first article. Turn the page for a few photos.

As you know I have been using ecto to prepare my blog articles offline and then upload them to my blogs. I use it for MacEssence and for my family blog. I have used ecto for several years now, ever since I started blogging. It is a great little program. For $17 it is worth it’s weight in gold if you do any blogging at all
