Web Gallery
Do you have a MobileMe account? I just renewed my MobileMe account in December. I am really enjoying it, the whole package. I don’t use all of the features of the account, but enough to make it worth while. Case in point, the Web Gallery.
Scroll Ball Failure

Anybody out there use a Mighty Mouse with the little itty-bitty scroll ball? The new Macs have been shipping with a Mighty Mouse for several years now. I got one with my iMac. Overall, I really like the Mighty Mouse, including the scroll ball.
Mail Problems
I have been reading of people having problems with the Mail application unexpectedly quitting after updating their machine to 10.5.6 (my Mail is not having this problem). Apparently this is a problem with Mail not updating properly. So, Apple has just come out with a fix. All you need to do is run Software Update to see if you need it. Go here for more information from Apple.

Holiday Wrap Up
This should be the last article until after Christmas. I will resume my activities during New Years week. I thought I would just do a little wrap up on a few things from over the past few weeks.
10.5.6 Update
After reading about people’s experiences with 10.5.6 I made the leap and installed it on my Macs. I put it on the MacBook first because I really don’t have a lot of stuff to lose on that machine. Most of my important documents and software is on my iMac.
10.5.6
Well, it is finally here. Apple has released the Leopard OX 10.5.6 update. You can see a list of the fixes here. I am going to wait a day or two before installing, although Apple’s latest updates have been very stable. Just a friendly reminder to download the “combo” update to your desktop. Restart in “Safe Boot” mode by holding down the “Shift” key. Intstall the updater and then do a normal restart. More on this update in a few days.

Office 12.1.5
The latest Office update, 12.1.5, which came out a few days ago, is worth your time. I installed it on my Office 2008 and it definitely boots up a little faster. No doubt about it. I don’t use Office as much as some people, but as far as I can tell the 12.1.5 update is good to go.

Dejumble
In keeping with my research on To Do programs I am trying out Dejumble. Dejumble operates as a menu item. When you click on it’s icon it drops down a window for entering your To Do’s. I have been using it for about a week and I like it.
Unexpectedly Quit
Of late people have been reporting that when they have quit certain applications in Leopard 10.5.5 the app reports that it has “unexpectedly quit”. This has been happening to me using the Apple’s Preview application. Just today . . .
To Do Lists
What do you use for a To Do program? I know, I know you can just write a list on a piece of paper, but where is the fun in that. Over the years I have used a few To Do programs.
