iDisk File Sharing 2
I forgot to mention something in my previous article on file sharing in iDisk. There is a way to share several files at once through your iDisk. It is not too complicated. To begin, you have to have several files in your documents folder on your iDisk.

This is very cool! I have had MobileMe for about 1½ years now and I really like it. Apple does add features to MobileMe from time to time which just enriches the value. Recently they added a very useful feature. Apple just added large file sharing capabilities to iDisk in MobileMe. And, as you would expect, it is relatively easy to make work. Here is what you do.
iMovie ’09
The second application of the iLife ’09 suite that I have really used is iMovie. I got some video of my grandkids playing basketball the other day and used the new iMovie ’09 to develop the movie.
iWeb FTP Followup
My woodworking blog that I do with iWeb has been on the FTP site for about a week now and I have discovered a couple of really cool things. First, it really loads faster as a normal website versus a .Mac site. Second, I just discovered this morning that the cPanel stats are working. I can track statistics for the website. Somehow the statistics program figured out the iWeb puts the whole site into an extra folder and can track stats. Very cool.

iChat Fun
Today I went to a friends house to help them with their new iMac. They had some questions about the Mac OS. While talking with them transfer some of their email accounts from webmail to Apple’s Mail application. However, our conversation came around to communicating with distant relatives and eventually to iChat.
Security Update 2009-001
Apple released a Security Update today and a Java update the other day. Some people have had some problem with the Security update not allowing their machine to finish rebooting after the install.
More iWeb ’09
A lot of the new features in iWeb are interface tweaks and improvements. Besides the new FTP feature one of the coolest improvements is the Widgets Bar.
iWeb ’09
I suppose the application most people use in the iLife suite is iPhoto. But I wanted to start with iWeb ’09 because it does something very cool that I have been waiting for for a long time.
Future of the Mac
As you can see I have been a Mac Dude for many years. There have been some frustrations along the way, but overall I have really had a wonderful time learning and keeping up with Mac hardware and software. I wouldn’t trade my Mac experiences for anything on the Windows side of things that is for sure.
