Some friends of mine asked me over to their house to fix some problems with their home machines and network. They have an iMac, MacBook, Time Capsule and Airport Express. My first exposure to their system was a flashing yellow light on the Time Capsule.

Odds & Ends
Just wanted to catch up on a few odds and ends on several things that I have been doing on the Mac of late. Nothing earth shattering here, but just kind of tying off a few things I guess.
VMWare Fusion Update
I usually keep up with any updates to VMWare Fusion. I really don’t use it that much, but any improvements are very welcome especially if they relate to CPU usage. Here is a list of the improvements to the latest Fusion 2.0.5 update.
New Camcorder & iMovie Part 2
I have covered much of how my Canon FS100 works and relates to iMovie in my first article. I still think this is a cool little camcorder if you are in the market for a SD (Standard Definition) camcorder. I just wanted to share a little about how this camcorder interacts with iMovie ’09.
New Camcorder & iMovie
My old Canon ZR65 mini DV camcorder gave up the ghost a while back so I have been shopping for a new camcorder. I have got to be able to do video of my grandkids! That is non-negotiable. So, with my limited budget what did I get?
iPhone 3G S
I cannot believe the overwhelming response to the iPhone 3G S that was released today. Especially with the iPhone 3G having been released only a year ago. People are lining up at Apple Stores everywhere to get one. Any of you in those lines?

WP to Twitter Followup
I finally got the WordPress plugin WP-to-Twitter to work properly. Now, when I post an entry to this blog it sends a notification to Twitter of the new post. Once the plugin is installed it has an extensive “Settings” area. It takes some time to go through it. If people wish to track my blog through my Twitter account they can.

iPhone 3.0
Have you downloaded your copy of iPhone 3.0 software yet? I sure wish I had an iPhone and/or an iPod Touch. I think the Touch would be more my speed. If you feel like, go ahead and make comments on your take on the iPhone 3.0 software.

WP to Twitter
OK, I have been working on this for a bit. I changed to a WordPress plugin called WP-to-Twitter. I linked to the download and installation instructions. I was unable to get the other plugin to work properly. More info in another post when I have had time to try this out.
