I have written different articles about Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on the Mac and within different services like Facebook or Twitter. Yes, Two-Factor Authentication is kind of a hassle to use, but has become an absolute necessity. There are just too many ways the bad guys can hurt you through your online browser activity or through different media services in which you participate. I have switched almost all of my online activity to 2FA wherever possible. It is kind of a pain, but it is worth it for the peace of mind. I thought about doing a full article on 2FA here, but I discovered a great site called PixelPrivacy run by Bill Hess. He has the most thorough article I have ever seen on Two-Factor Authentication. I strongly urge you to click on the link and read the whole thing. It is definitely worth your time, then explore and bookmark the site for future reference.
