Whether you like it or not, most iOS and Mac software is gravitating to a Subscription model. This has led me to re-evaluate some of my software; “do I really need this software package or not?” App subscriptions are tied into the App Store and iTunes. If you would like to cancel or just review your subscriptions there is an easy way to do it on your iPhone or iPad.
I am going to use my iPhone 8 to demonstrate this process. To begin this App review process tap on the App Store:
When you are in the App Store front page, just tap on your Apple ID photo in the upper right corner of the window:
Then, tap on Manage Subscriptions to see your list of Apps:
Here are my subscriptions. I am going to cancel Nomorobo because I started using the Malwarebytes iPhone App instead:
When you tap on an App you are taken to this screen:
When you tap Cancel Subscription you are presented with some type of confirmation screen:
However you have your phone or iPad setup is how you would confirm this cancellation. And, that is all there is to it.
If you need to review or cancel a subscription it is relatively easy to do on your iPhone or iPad, much easier than going into the iTunes App Store for sure.
