I don’t know if you use Emoji in your Emails or not. I use them on occasion. I suppose it would not be appropriate in a business setting. However, if you want to have some fun with an Email and include an Emoji, here is how you do it in the Apple Mail App.
The first thing is to create a new Email in the Mail App:
Now, click on the Emoji symbol in the Toolbar which produces the Emoji and Symbols window:
Just scroll through the list of Emoji. When you locate the one you want, double-click on it to insert it into your Email text:
Obviously, your cursor needs to be in the right location.
There is a couple of things to keep in mind. The Emoji will assume the size of the font you are using. However, you can select the Emoji and enlarge it to another size:
The surrounding text remains in its original state.
By the way, if your Email App does not have an Emoji icon in the Toolbar you can probably find a command in the Edit Menu to activate the Emoji & Symbols window. Here is an example the Airmail app:
I am sure other Email Apps have a similar command, you might have to look around for it.
OK, so this is just a fun thing to do. You would not use it in a work environment (or would you?), but you might use it in other circumstances.
