The latest iOS 14.5 update has some nice improvements and fixes for iPhone users. One of those fixes involves recalibrating the battery on the iPhone 11. I have an iPhone 11, so this interests me. If you are running an iPhone 11, you can see how this recalibration works.
You can check on this recalibration process in the Battery Settings area.
Once in this area, just tap on Battery Health.
In this window, read the first paragraph explaining how the calibration works.
So, you really do not have to do anything. It appears the recalibration occurs in the background over a period of several weeks.
As you can see, my iPhone 11 battery capacity is at 91%. I will report back in a month or so to see if this recalibration feature actually works.
One of the neatest features of the new iOS 14.5 update is battery recalibration for iPhone 11 users. We will just have to see how this works.
