I finally installed iOS and iPadOS 15. Then I made sure a bunch of privacy stuff was turned off. There are some nice new features in iOS 15 that many people will appreciate. One new “feature” is the Safari address bar is now located at the bottom of the browser window.
This will not work for me, so I changed it back to the top of the window. Here is how you do that.
Safari Address Bar
You move the address bar to the top of the window in Safari / Settings.
In the next window, scroll down to the “Tab” section.
Just click on the “Single Tab” icon. The picture shows the address bar at the top of the window in the “Single Tab” setting.
Now, when you open a website in Safari, the Address Bar is back at the top of the window.
I don’t know about you, but that is just more natural to me.
If you like the address bar at the bottom of the Safari window, certainly, just leave it there. It is good that it can be changed, though. I think many people will make the change.
