Checking Your iPhone Warranty

Posted by

How is your iPhone doing? I rarely have any problems with my iPhone. I take very good care of it, I have never had to have one repaired (knock on wood). However, if you are having problems with your iPhone, or it is damaged in some way you may need to access its warranty information. Here is where you go to do that.

iOS Warranty Information

I hope you never have to use the warranty on your iPhone, but in case you do here is how to do that. Go into the Settings area and then General:

General
General

Then tap on the “About” item at the top of the page:

About
About

Now look at about the middle of that screen. If you have Applecare+ it will be listed there. If you have the regular default iPhone warranty it will say something “Limited Warranty”:

Applecare
Applecare

If you tap on that item it will take you to a page that explains what warranty coverage you have:

That is all there is to it. Not too difficult, but the information is there if you need it.

Conclusion

I hope you never have to use the warranty info for your iOS device, but if you do it is easily obtained.
